October is Halloween season, and one of the greatest things about Halloween is getting scared; whether it’s scary movies, scary costumes, or scary places, there’s nothing quite like getting your adrenaline pumping, especially with your loved ones. That is why Cutter Automotive Galleries has come up with a list of the best haunted houses and events in Hawaii.

The Walk with the Dead Ghost Tour – Every night of October

Where: Downtown Honolulu, Hawaii

Did you know that Honolulu is full of spooky paranormal activity? Now you can experience the dark history of the city led by one of the undead. Explore downtown Honolulu and Chinatown while hearing intensely scary stories of murder, madness, death, suicide, and the ghosts who were left behind. Children are not permitted on this tour due to its spookiness and you should book ahead at least 48 hours in advance to reserve your place on this one-and-a-half-mile adventure.

Scare Hawaii – Weekends throughout October plus Halloween

Where: Kaneohe, Hawaii

If you’d like to do something a little more intense this Halloween, check out Scare Hawaii, a haunted house with this year’s theme of “Deranged Souls.” Their goal is to walk you and your friends through your deepest fears in a night of fun and adrenaline. See if you can make it through.

Nightmares Live – Saturdays and Sundays throughout October, plus October 27 and 31

Flora Dec in Honolulu, Hawaii

Nightmares Live began in 1995 when a group of college students created a hallway haunted house consisting of cardboard and paint. It was so good that it grew in popularity (and resources) and it is now Hawaii’s premiere haunted house featured on Travel Channel’s Making Monsters. Grab your friends and enter at your own risk.

Myths and Legends of Waikiki Ghost Tour – Monday nights throughout October

Hilton Hawaiian Village, Waikiki, Hawaii

If you’re looking for a spooky adventure that is a little tamer, grab the family and take the Myths and Legends of Waikiki Ghost Tour. Explore paranormal hotspots and hear stories of hotel guests and ghost sightings in a one-and-a-half mile walk around Waikiki. You’ll also enjoy hearing stories of Hawaiian culture and history, and hear personal accounts of ghost encounters from the guides themselves.

Haunted Haiku Hike 2016 – October 28

Awalau Farm, Haiku, Hawaii

If you’re looking for a different kind of haunted attraction, you’ll want to check out the Haunted Haiku Hike. Each year Awalau Farm hosts both family-friendly and spine-chilling walks through fantastical scenes. The Haunted Haiku Hike features spine-chilling tales and ghouls that you will meet along the way.

Are you brave enough to see what these attractions and events hold? Cutter Automotive Galleries hopes you make the most of this Halloween season and experience all the thrills it has to offer. We also care about your safety, so before you go on your adventures, be sure to stop by our service department to make sure your vehicle is in its best shape.
